We are a music-based education company (start-up!) looking for a person to overhaul our social media. Our education platform needs to be appealing to teachers, parents and students alike. It is important you understand the major platforms, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, Vimeo, etc. & be MATURE enough to know what should&should not be posted. You should be familiar with '[login to view URL]', so that managers may approve your posts prior to posting. The goal is to have approximately one post per platform (FB,Insta,Twitter) per day for a total of 3 posts per day (M-Sat) (same content--just adjusted for each platform), & likely 1 YouTube post per week (video will be provided, simply need to post, add tags, description, etc.) Basically you will create content for approximately 6-7 new posts per week, & simply make adjustments for the others.

We are looking for a talented Social media manager to administer our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating original text & video content, managing posts & responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. We expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies & social media trends. You need excellent communication skills & be able to express our company’s views [login to view URL], you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic & customer engagement by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap. You should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works & how to optimize content so it is engaging on each channel. You are responsible for joining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand & “soft selling” the product by providing support to current & prospective customers.
Responsibilities:
Build & execute social media strategy through research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging & audience identification (teachers/parents/students/etc.)
Generate, edit, publish & share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections & encourages community members to take action
Optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
Analyze & create accounts within viable platforms not currently utilized. (TikTok,Snap,FB Shops,Insta Shops,etc.)
Moderate all user-generated content for each community, & respond accordingly-Always within company guidelines.
Create editorial calendars/syndication schedules (i.e. have a running plethora of posts scheduled in “Later” or similar platform so posts can be reviewed/approved prior to posting.)
Create blog posts/press snippets for website & social reposting
Continuously improve by capturing & analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights & best practices, & then acting on the information
Prepare a weekly overview of (all) data for CEO/COO review
Collaborate with team (operations, IT, CEO, customer relations, sales, etc.)
Requirements:
Proven experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation & communication skills
Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
Positive attitude, detail & customer-oriented, good multi-tasking & organizational ability
BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, News Media, Public Relations, Social Media, or similar.
