Build in house affiliation engine in Java/Kotlin

We are looking for an experienced team or a freelance expert who has strong back end knowledge (5+ years) in Java and Ruby on Rails.

The candidate should have worked successfully on minimum 10 complex projects in Java and Ruby on Rails.

It is preferable that the candidate has worked in the past on building/supporting inhouse affiliation engines.

The candidate will be requested to build our own affiliate marketing engine in RoR, so that third party websites will be able to generate their own affiliate links using our engine and our affiliation code.

Below are the fundamental tasks that will be part of this project:

- Prepare Java/Kotlin Web API that tracks and store clicks in a database (will include flyway database migration scripts)

- Java/Kotlin Web API exposing tracked Clicks for consumption.

- Javascript library that will be hot loaded by Merchants containing utility functions to parse data from urls, cookies and to support tracking conversions

- Java/Kotlin job that matches related clicks and sales and stores the result as a conversion in a database (will include flyway database migration scripts)

Ruby on Rails, Java (Core and Advanced), Kotlin, Software architecture
