Pretty much I need help setting up an entire project (including parts needed etc.). I presume an arduino/raspberry pi + a stepper motor + a coupler would be the best way to go? I would be 3D printing the mounting myself I would like a program which will turn this knob in the following ways: Turn to random position from 0 - 100 - needs to go up and down (ie can go from 0 to 60, 60 to 30, 30 to 100, and 100 to 20), but cannot go past (clockwise) 100 or below (anticlockwise) 0. Change positions randomly every 30s - 2 min - if its possible: change the position of the knob slowly say over 30s. Stop the motor after a period from 1-2 hours

Hello. Im designing different electronics devices, mostly based on avr, arm MCUs and boards with them like arduino, stm-discovery etc. (autopromotion^)) Raspberry is too fat for this purpose. Smallest arduino board is enough. Plus small driver for small step motor. Lets talk. Bid is not final due to lack of detailes for now.

Hello, I am vice-champion in an International robotics competition called Eurobot, I have a very large experience with robotics and microcontroller programming. I can deliver a code which is well commented and well explained. For the hardware I suggest using a servo-motor instead of the stepper motor, you will not have to worry about the control. Also, I suggest using an ESP32 instead of an Arduino (Raspberry Pi is too powerful for such application, using it wouldn't be an optimized solution), The ESP32 costs 5$ and it's programmed using the Arduino IDE, it has builtin Wifi and Bluetooth so we could turn on/off the knob wirelessly. I can suggest an App that will let you program any sequence you want. Please contact me to discuss this further. Thank you.

I’m very experienced with arduinos. I’ve worked with all kinds of arduinos for over 4 years. And also worked with stepper motors too. The count of projects that I made is too much and uncountable.
