Python automated deleting of watermark in MS Word Doc

Hi I would like somebody to teach me/ do the code in python on how this problem can be solve.
I have a watermarked document (both background image and footer which is repeated in 700 pages). Instead of deleting them one by one I believe this can be done using python.
The person ideally can teach the basic code. I have very basic python knowledge and hope to enhance this.
