I need you to develop some software for playing sound files. They are prepared by a tone engeneer in 5.1 WAV format. I would like this software to be developed for Windows. We have Sound Files wich should be embedded in the Software, that they can not be copied by the user. The software should have a switch for the soundcard, that it can be fixed, even when an other soundcard is choosen as windows standart. The software is for audiologists for real life fitting hearing instruments. Over klicking a picture he will choose the track. There should be a volume controle too, it should be possible to convert the 5.1 files during playing into 2.0 if no 5.1 device is availiable. Thanks for your request!

Hello there, I'm an ex Yamaha Pro Audio R&D engineer specialising on the software side of things. I specialie in C and C++ and have vast experience developing Windows applications in a variety of markets, including Soft Synths and Keyboard(Motif series) emulators(virtual pianos etc). So, per my understanding, you want a software with embedded music, and not available as separate files. So all the music comes pre-installed with the application? Need to update the application for new music? (By the way, it is possible to have downloadable music not available as separate files.) The software would require some low level driver code to control the audio stream direction. The GUI seems simple enough. Codec for WAV format is readily available too. I am a c/c++ and assembly language programmer and I think I have the requisite skill set to make this. Please message me on chat if you are interested and we can discuss in more detail.
