load xml files from ftp site into sql server tables

platform windows 2012 server ms sql server ftp some sort of script to run the process requirement -access ftp folder (at moment over 7000 files there) -read xml files (named .001 for some reason) in sequentially in order of creation date and obtain file name (samples attached) -files have many names, need to look inside to see if one of 2 xml formats, to load two sql server tables will be loaded KAARTEN and VERZILVERING, sql attached. - basic rule: kaarten / activation are xml type table KAARTEN redemption / verzilvering are table VERZILVERING there can also be empty files -note date/datetime fields are varchar(25) and added field import_date to be timestamp of when it is loaded. -for tables, sql used attached, -I imagined another table in sql server that would place timestamp of creation date of last file process, then next time it runs it will check after certain timestamp. Or we can place this is a flat file somewhere… open to suggestion here. this script should run often, maybe every 15 minutes. - Note, I have triggers that run on insert into each of the 2 tables, hope there is no problem with this. attached: sample xml, sql to create 2 tables, php scripts attached FOR REFERENCE created in phase one of project when thought we were on mysql. these could be used as basis, or someone can tell me if php runs on windows? in php version: tables ID, we can add if necessary, php version also does not have correct datatype for date fields.
