Environmental Sampling Plan- Required Number of Samples and Statistical Calculations

I need statistical models supporting the number of samples chosen for an environmental hazardous waste sampling plan. The results are pre-determined, but the statistical work is required. This is working backwards. The details are as follows; Sampling is to be at 10% of all sites. There are two types of waste sites (Type A and B). These can both be considered homogeneous. Type A waste is in 1191 locations. Number of samples required is 119. Type B waste is in 626 locations. Number of samples required is 63. There should be a confidence interval of 90% in the collected samples. Statistical models should be acceptable by US EPA standards as referenced in the below: • Waste Analysis at Facilities that Generate, Treat, Store, and Dispose of Hazardous Wastes (EPA 530-R-12-001 dated April 2015). • RCRA Waste Sampling Draft Technical Guidance Planning, Implementation, and Assessment (EPA 530-D-02-002 dated April 2015). • CALCULATING UPPER CONFIDENCE LIMITS FOR EXPOSURE POINT CONCENTRATIONS AT HAZARDOUS WASTE SITES (OSWER 9285.6-10, Dec 2002). Deliverables: 1. MS Word Document- Description of statistical models used and results produced (10% samples required which is 119 and 63, 90% confidence interval). This should be like a university/ college freshman year write up. Give the parameters, formula used, and step by where numbers are included to results. 2. Excel document- Statistical Formula embedded with numbers. The cells of the formula should be linked allowing for changes in results if parameters are changed. I am open to suggestions for formulas as long as they meet currently accepted US EPA regs/ requirements. Estimated Project worth $300 USD
