DR / Secondary Site NetApp Two Node cDOT Cluster (HA Pair) a) Configure DR cluster and verify connectivity b) Assign node disk ownership and initialize disk spindles c) Create one (1) NFS export and attach to up to three (3) VMware hosts d) Configure cluster interconnect switches (if included) e) Rack, stack, and cable cluster interconnect switches (if included) f) Rack, stack, and cable NetApp controller and shelves g) Create and configure new cDOT cluster h) Create and configure one SVM (Storage Virtual Machine) i) Conduct DR cluster Non-Disruptive Operations (NDO) testing 3. Data Replication Configuration a) Create cDOT cluster peering relationship between production & DR site clusters b) Create (1) test and up to (3) Volume SnapMirror (VSM) replication relationships c) Test (1) Volume SnapMirror replication failover and failback 4. NetApp Software a) Install and configure NetApp VSC and VAAI plug ins for up to (3) vSphere hosts b) Install and configure OnCommand Unified Manager & Performance Manager, or add cluster to existing instances 5. NetApp Clustered ONTAP – 7-Mode Transition Tool Installation a) Install and configure 7-Mode Transition Tool (7MTT) on a dedicated VM b) 7-mode transition tool error and warnings review and testing c) 7MTT discovery and review of HA pairs d) Transition up to 10TB of data from existing "Prod" 7-Mode cluster to new CDOT cluster – T&M task e) Transition up to 10TB of data from existing "DR" 7-Mode cluster to new CDOT cluster – T&M task iv. Project Closeout Phase 1. Create As-Built documentation describing the deployment and provide to the Customer 2. Conduct a knowledge transfer session not to exceed five (5) hours in duration we will deliver a single knowledge transfer session, limited to five (5) hours, to describe the configuration changes. The session will not be a substitute for formal classroom training. The appropriate customer staff will be available for the session, as subsequent knowledge transfer sessions will be billed as a change request 3. Deliver Customer acknowledgement and obtain signoff.
