Objective : Populate/Refresh CollectionView INSIDE Container View
Deadline : 28th of March
I need a swift expert to check my code to fix and explain to me what am I missing or what I am doing wrong.
In attach I have a picture that shows the scenario and I will provide the link to the project demo after.
The scenario is simple :
There is a ViewController embedded in a Navigation Controller.
This ViewController has a Segmented Control and 3 ContainerViews "attached" to the Segmented Control.
When the View Controller loads, I call a WebService that retrieves json data from a url.
I parse that json data and I pass the objects to the 3 view containers that should be the data source for each view container.
All the 3 view containers receive the data, it's all in the logs, but I cannot refresh the collection view inside that ContainerViews and this is the problem.
The help that I need is to solve and to identify the WHY is not refreshing. Need to understand what I am doing wrong. The project demo will have only the first view container to serve as proof of concept, I will replicate after when its all done.
Important Note : The solution MUST be based on manipulating the cells in layout mode, I DO NOT WANT the cells and objects created programmatically. The SegmentedControl and the View Containers can be swapped by another solution that works as expected and perform the Horizontal Scroll for the collection view in each view container, but HAS TO BE based on layout manipulation and NOT programmatically created, due to a specific layout I have to follow after.
