we download an older version (skype classic) that has features that are useful but it keeps reverting to the newest version which we dislike. When I remove the program thru control panel it says there are still some pieces left which need to be removed manually which I don't know how to do. Are those pieces the reason we are reverting back to the newest version? We want the features of being able to rename a contact and also make the font size larger. The newest version might be more fun, but we are using it for business. Is this possible or has Microsoft prevented installing the older versions? Would you have install via Team Viewer

Yes, you will have to install teamviewer in order for me to see. Additionally, I would have to know what OS you are running but this is a fixable situation for you.
