Threejs geometry. Get one face of a 3d object and divide that up into 4 point polygon array.

I would like to dynamically re-create a single face of a 3d object into polygons made up of 4 points. For example a 3d cube with a hole in the centre will have a face made up of 4 polygons each comprising 4 vector points. Please only apply if you are familiar with geometry and threejs. attached is an example illustration of what is needed. this is a top down view looking at a 3d shape(named [login to view URL]) [login to view URL] is the face from the 3d polygon broken up into 4 polygons (4 points each )
