Good day,   We are looking to hire a Sourcing specialist to help us source a fitness product from China (through Alibaba or other direct channels). We already sell the existing product but have decided to move to a different supplier due to cost issues.   Product: Ankle straps for cable machine   Similar product link: [login to view URL] A successful candidate must be able to demonstrate prior experience of sourcing from China. The position requires the candidate to be highly analytical and detail-oriented. They also need to be excellent communicators who are persuasive and have great interpersonal skills. Ability to speak the Mandarin/Cantonese would be strongly preferred as this will help with communication barriers with suppliers. Below are the steps you will need to take once you are employed : 1) Review contents of dropbox folder (to be shared after candidate is picked). This folder will contain images of our product, dimensions and an excel sheet showing the price range we are looking for. 2) You will then need to find a reputed manufacturer or supplier, reach out to them on our behalf and find us the best possible price point. We are looking to find 3 suppliers selling the exact same product in our price range.   3) You will need to fill out the required information on the spreadsheet for each supplier.  Requirements skills/experience:  Minimum 2 years sourcing consumer products from China (Must be able to demonstrate)  Excellent communication skills Showing industry-specific experience Demonstrating deep understanding of product being sourced Showing proficiency in MS Office    Note: If the first project goes well, we will have several other projects we can work on.
