I'm sure there is a solution here to get the behavior you want. I guess I need more detail of what you are really after here. But, from what you said, I'd think you could use a custom combobox column that has +/- instead of check mark and have the datagrid show/hide that data you want by showing/hiding/inserting/deleting rows. All that depends upon data structure and what behavior you are looking for. I am unsure if you want a custom control made here or you have a specific application you are looking for and has to be a datagrid control.
