Tool or script to replace image in header and footer of Word document

I have 1000 word documents where logo should be renamed due to a company name change. I'm looking for someone with skills related to powershell/vba word object/component model: I need a program or script that: 1. Run through a specific folder for all word documents ( various doc extensions ) 2. Open the document and replace the image used in the header and image used in sidebar. (probably footer) 3. Replace font used in document. 4. Finally the document should be saved/converted into latest Word format ( and thus changing the extension if necessary) 4. Document and directory structure should be created in a new folder CONVERTED . Old folder should be left as is. It should open one document after another and change the above. Run though folder and subfolders. A logfile should be written as to whether the operation was a success or not.. I have done some simple coding myself that can change the font, but i need a more professinal coder at this. I will provide 'old' documents for testing/reference, and provide the images for the new document layout.
