Build a stock footage library

Stock Footage Library Program Brief: We are looking for a web designer/ software developer to create an online stock footage and music library, which will enable consumers to license single clips or music tracks on a single purchase license or a subscription basis. The footage will be broken down into the following categories: SD HD 4k 8k The price will vary according to category for single license (exact pricing TBC) For reference, here are examples of existing stock footage libraries: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] Detail: There will the two main tabs/pages- Footage Library Music Library For the footage/ video page you will be allowed to browse by category/ by resolution or search title/ Keywords For Music page you will be able to search by music genre/ keywords Creating the library: The footage/ music in the library will be uploaded by us and we will have the option to update the library as and when. This site/ program will be accessible via the Internet, however it will be hosted on our local server. At the moment we host everything on QNAP NAS servers. To upload a clip into the library, you will be asked to enter a title, and then a short description (which will contain keywords than can be recognised by the search function). The title will also contain keywords that will be recognised by the search function. The system will automatically recognise when the clip was uploaded, and will request a date for when the clip was shot (ie. 70’2/ 80’s/90’s or more specifically exact year) Premium clips- some clips will be highlighted/ show in the browsing section as these are to be distinguished as premium clips. The premium clip function should be able to be turned on and off. To upload a music track, the system will ask for a title, then genre and then description (which will also be recognised in the search function). A book keeping system will be integrated into the system. It will generate invoices per user profile - calculate VAT for UK subscribers; no VAT for Non UK subscribers. Each invoice will be logged per invoice safe pay system etc… User side: Each user will have a profile- upon signing up, the user will determine whether they want to buy a single license or enter a subscription. Subscription users will be able to tailor their plan (i.e only 4k material/ only entertainment footage/ only music/ etc…) Browsing: Type into the search field the type of footage/ music you are after and hit search. A selection of clips will be displayed. As you hover over the clip with a cursor, the clip will play in preview mode. You will also have the function to select file and add to basket/ wish list or download. If the clip is available in more than one format- the client will be asked whether they want to download: Original SD file Up-resed HD file or original HD file Up-resed 4k file Upon double clicking on a clip, it will open another window, with a clip preview file, the file title, the file description, the original format, clip number and available formats. As a user- will be able to look into the account section, which will have a record of all purchases made.
