I need a shopping cart for my website with flexibility in shipping costs

I'm just one guy- an underground artist wanting to sell postcards, notecards, zines and such from my website. I have my own site hosted on Godaddy, and my html code is 30 years out of date- but it's funky and reflects the character of the artwork. I want to be able to add "buy now" buttons to the items, but don't want to create a generic "web store" kind of thing.
Really, paypal buttons would be perfect, but I want more options in calculating shipping than they offer. Like, I'd like to be able to offer postcards for "$1 each, or 6 for $5" with a flat rate shipping, with one price for X amount of postcards. And then in the same cart, have shipping for zines a flat $1 each- and then again, free shipping for high ticket items- all in one cart.
And I'd like to do this all without sacrificing my funky old school website design. And have the cart interface with paypal for checkout. I know there are a lot of shopping cart templates out there that work in html, css, javascript and the like, and something like that would be ideal- but the coding is beyond my skill level.
Anyone willing to take on this project? Let's talk! ... I'm looking for a budget coder- the closer you can get to rock bottom, the better!
