Hello, I have a wordpress multisite of over 400 subdomains. They all capture visitor information and began to send out a string of email letters. These are triggered by CRON jobs. I have a freelancer set this up before but it was not done in a smart way and the server load increased VERY VERY high and my database crashed over and over. I need CRON jobs set up in a way that can be handled successfully. These emails should be sent out to visitors almost instantly, at least within 3-4 minutes. I have heard one suggestion that there can be a script run from the server to handle the CRON jobs but the freelancer advising that is busy with a big project. I have an "ELITE" dedicated server with Host Gator. Please help as I need this issue handled right away.
