I can build this functionality for your WP clothes store. I have built similar 'choice' popups before for some clients' websites. When user visit your site for the first time, they will be shown a popup to choose men or women clothes, and based on their choice that section will open. Then their choice will be saved based on their IP address so that when they visit again, it will automatically show the right side of the site.
