Basically the system is designed to detect and recognize different types of objects in satellite images, for example cars, houses, airplanes, boats etc. The back-end is coded purely in python. Various computer vision techniques and different deep learning models are used in the back-end pipeline. Moreover, one of the major goals of the project was to offer the user an easy-to-use GUI with slick features. I built the GUI on MEAN stack.

This is YOLO running locally on one of my systems. You Look Only Once (YOLO) is a famous deep learning based neural network for object detection. It uses darknet which is written in C and CUDA. It determines the location of the objects in an image as well as classify those objects.
