포트폴리오

The project was to configure 1 Maraidb replication from two masters as follows:

1. The first master database engine was a Mariadb server installed on Centos 7. It was required to replicate the whole database.
2. The second master was MySQL 5.7 installed on Ubuntu 16.04. and it was required to replicate just two tables.
3. The replication server was a MariaDB 10 installed on Ubuntu Server 18.04.

All servers were hosted on Digital Oceans.

In this project, a Django web application was deployed on a Digital Ocean droplet.

An Nginx server is used to reverse proxy all traffic to the Django web app through Gunicorn (WSGI).

Nginx is configured to use TLS 1.2 to allow HTTPS instead of HTTP.

In this project, an Nginx server was configured as a reverse proxy for 2 web applications:

1. The first was a .net app hosted on an IIS server.
2. The second was a nodejs app on a Linux server.

It was installed on Ubuntu server on an AWS EC2 instant. The domain name was configured on AWS Route 53.

Two EC2 instances were created and put on a target group and an application load balancer was configured to load balance between them. The load balancer was joined with the certificate manager and route 53.

Nginx was configured for a TLS certificate. The certificate was issued using AWS Certificate Manager (ACM).

○ Others: Time Sync for the accurate current time and CloudFormation to automate
work, etc.

In this course, Managing the Kubernetes API Server and Pods, you will gain the ability to deploy, manage, and troubleshoot container-based workloads in Kubernetes. First, you will learn how to use the Kubernetes API and API Server internals. Next, you will discover how to use labels, annotations, and namespaces to organize the largest workloads and how Kubernetes uses labels internally for its own operations. Finally, you will explore how to create, manage, and maintain healthy container-based applications with the primary Kubernetes workload construct, the Pod. When you're finished with this course, you will have the skills and knowledge of creating and maintaining container-based workloads in Kubernetes. PluralSight Certificate: Managing the Kubernetes API Server

For a company that has more than 100 mailboxes and going to Gmail or Office365 costs huge money monthly. The challenge was to update the active directory from 2008R2 to 2019 and to update the exchange server from 2010 to 2019 with TLS certificate from DigiCert.

So I did the following:
1. Updating the domain controllers to Windows 2019, reviewing users and groups, deleting the non-existing users, and updating the Group Policy.
2. Changing the domain registration, and public DNS records (MX-Records, A-records, and PRT records) to point to the new location.
3. Forest prep and Doamin prep
4. Installing the Exchange server, configuring the configuring send, and receive connectors
5. Configuring Wild Card TLS Certificate: Secure OWA, ActiveSync, and OutlookAnywhere. I re-Issued the certificate with an update on the services, and put it on Sophos (Edge)
6. Creating and Publishing the Exchange using WAF.
