Transact Solutions began operations in January 1997 through it's wholly owned subsidiary Interactive Digital (I) Pvt. Ltd. which has concerned itself with web publishing, web applications development, web solutions, content development and hosting besides marketing web products and services and consultancy.
We are active in Ireland through our associate company Transact Solutions, Europe, based in Dublin, Ireland, and have been highly successful in the European markets. We have undertaken many projects for companies in Ireland, United States, United Kingdom and other countries through our European base.
We are best known due to our highly acclaimed product suite for Small and Medium Enterprises called "Fulcrum". It includes various enterprise solutions covering every aspect of business ranging from supply chain management to customer relationships, sales force management to financial accounting.
Besides the core applications development, Transact Solutions has executed various web-based software projects that include Business Process Implementation, Content Management, Distributed Database Management, Remote Database Management, and Real-time Database Synchronization and Configurable Administrative and Support Consoles for Irish and overseas clients.

We rate ourselves good in J2EE technologies. We follow different design patterns and architectures based on the client requirements. We also design website which are critical for business and require an extra level of security which we achieve by using MVC (Model View Controller) design pattern. For non- critical website we use simple design pattern in order that the website performance should be fast.
For MVC design patterns we use Struts.
For simple design patterns we use JSP and servlets.
The open source database which we use is MySQL and PostgreSQL which helps in reducing the cost of development. Apart from the above mentioned, we also use databases like Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MSAccess etc.
We create reusable routines using XML and XSL. We also use XML for having communication between different components. For XML parsing we use SAX parser and DOM parser based upon the requirements. In order to transform XML documents we use XSL.
Another reason for implementing XSL and XML is whenever the client requirements changes its easier to implement and hence scalable.

We also provide a search module at the cheaper rates as compared to the present market conditions. We also provide a multilingual keyboard tool which is made in JavaScript and can be easily integrated with any website.
