A Software Engineer with more than 6.5 years of IT experience. My experience comprises of about one year in VB.NET, 3 years in VB and about 1 year in ASP. I am an experienced database developer in Oracle and SQL Server with more than 2 years experience in Oracle. I have a track record of successfully completing more than 3 projects of considerable size. For two of these projects, I was the Team Leader. As a team leader I was accountable for developing software code and associated life cycle deliverables like Requirement Documents, Design documents, test plans etc. I have the experience of working through the entire life cycle for two of my projects. I am well versed with SDLC methodologies. I can develop program specifications, design code modules according to specifications and requisite standards. I use UML, Use Case notations in particular, for software analysis and application design. I was responsible in initiating and implementing quality procedures in my present work place and I have established development standards for my teams. I am experienced in N-tier architectural design and development using technologies like ADO,ODBC, COM and DCOM with MTS. My Primarily skills are VB 6.0 with Active X, Crystal reports, VB.NET, DHTML and related technologies. I have used VSS as the SCM tool. As an experienced software developer, I can make significant contribution to the overall development process to make it better. I relish the challenge of working to deadlines. I am a good team player either as a member or as a leader of the team. I can pick up a project from the middle since I have experience in modification of existing code base.
