NEW UPDATE! I have updated this contest. I cannot create milestones in a contest, so I had to change the rules.

This contest requires WebGL or OpenGL experience.

YOU MUST PROVIDE A DIRECT LINK OR VIDEO RECORDING OF YOUR WORK, IN YOUR ENTRY

GENERAL RULES:

(1) The website must be iOS/Android/Tablet compatible
(2) The website must not be slow, laggy, or otherwise "too much."
(3) The website must not be low quality, bad code, or pixelated.

In detail:

1. The front page will have a WebGL globe in the center; it should match our logo colors/theme
2. Each country should be clickable; upon clicking the country, it will redirect to our main website (which is a MediaWiki)
3. BONUS POINTS: When clicking a country, it should show 4 categories: Historical, Contemporary, Comparative, Predictive
4. Below the website should be 4 social media accounts: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest (this can be a hover-over option)
5. The entire vibe or theme should be cyber, hacker, or futuristic-looking
6. Sound effects are authorized (but optional)
7. Visit this link for an *EXAMPLE*: https://armsglobe.chromeexperiments.com/

If you need an extension, please message me. I will consider extending if enough people request it. You MUST be competitive for me to consider the request.

While we certainly appreciate the attempt from the others; only Mario went above and beyond the scope of the contest to secure a win.

The contest has ended.

Freelancer has given me the option of waiting for up to 3-4 weeks to decide on a winner.

Starting Monday, I will create a poll for the committee to vote over the 2 surviving contestants.

The vote will last all day. An awardee will be announced late Monday into Tuesday.

Keep in mind that we require all rights in a statement made by you (the owner); we will also require the entire code, and if there are any special instructions, we will require that as well. Once that is done, we can release payment to you.

I've rejected entries that are not WebGL. If you've submitted a WebGL entry and you did not provide a LINK or VIDEO of your entry, it will be rejected. Please provide a URL or video of your entry so that I can verify that it meets our demands. Otherwise we cannot award you.

Contestants,

I have been getting really good ideas from some of you. I have also been asked quite a few times to provide feedback. I will reiterate that I will only leave feedback for a 4-star concept. Please take a look at the other entries to get a feel for what works, and what doesn't.

I simply cannot accept low-quality work. I can only provide feedback to improve the concept, not your coding skills. No disrespect intended, but I will reject poor code, so that you do not waste anymore time on this particular contest.

Also, I apologize for the confusion when I say make a "rotating globe." One of the contestants reminded me that this is typically only possible if I provide you with a large canvas of the globe. I simply don't have one for this logo. As long as it shows some sort of animation, I'll accept it.

I'm starting to see more quality work now that this project is coming to a close. But, I want to see better. I have rated individuals:

5 stars = I am considering your design
4 stars = you are on the right path, but some modifications are needed
3 stars = You've likely listened to my description, I'm just not really attracted to the design
2 stars = I value your effort, but you are not yet as competitive as the others
1 stars = You're missing a lot of detail or the quality is far too low

I will comment on 4 stars or more.

I am extending this project on the 15th. I will also be increasing the prize as I think it will attract more competition. Please keep up the great work.

Hi, You want the globe rotating or spinning? With the current file, it can be made to spin.If you require it to be rotating in 3dimensions then you have to provide the original psd/ai files. I can do that if you send me the files.
