Enclosure for Audio Video Electronics enclosure ( a pair ) -
Transmitter & Receiver - both the same size & interface, only different print
Cosmetics : Solid, Robust and very importantly High End feeling.
No plastic please
We accept maximum 2 colors on product enclosure and another color for interface.
Size : Approximately 6-10cm Length, 3- 5cm Width, 1-2cm height

Interface on product :
2 port 3.5mm female
1 DC port
1 LED indicating power on/off
1 Transmitter/Receiver Selector

Print on product :

For Receiver :
1. Receiver Host ( Print on main body )
2. IR Emitter ( Print next to 1st 3.5mm port )
3. IR Receiver ( Print next to 2nd 3.5mm port )
4. DC ( Print next to DC port )
5. Power ( Print next to LED )
6. Switch

For Transmitter
1. Transmitter Host ( Print on main body )
2. IR Emitter ( Print next to 1st 3.5mm port )
3. IR Receiver ( Print next to 2nd 3.5mm port )
4. DC ( Print next to DC port )
5. Power ( Print next to LED )
6. Switch

Terms :
Bidder to submit 3D picture for entry
Winner must be able to make changes to winning design
We hold the IP for the enclosure
Winner must provide source file, PRO/E wildfire 5.0, 3D and any other editable file
Winner must provide drawings for each piece of the enclosure for molding production

2. "Winner must be able to make changes to winning design" - will it be a payed work? Because as I've seen many times, changes happens during all project duration

  I think you can see that the design is actually very straight forward. Shape, color, font used. High End feel is what we want to achieve. So if there is changes, it will very minimum

3. "Winner must provide drawings for each piece of the enclosure for molding production" - If you mean drawing of exterior enclosure - it's OK. But, if you mean also all interior mechanical design, there a lot of R&D work. It can take from few months to few years closely work with PCB design engineer to fit all hardware inside. There are also a lot of mechanical engineering work. It's necessary to research all tolerances, gaps, make all draft angles, atc. So, nobody build mold and molding at this stage. First builds PCB board simple prototype, than designs PCB board and enclosure in real sizes. Than builds enclosure prototype and PCB. If everything OK, then build SOFT mold. Because sink marks may appear. After checking all, builds hard mold.

  We already had an existing product, so there isnt any issue with the PCB. We can re arrange the PCB layout according to the new design

I have some questions:
1. "No plastic please" - for IR you have to use dark transparent red plastic. Metals do not allow signal to go through.
