The aim of the project is to prepare a 50+ pages work using the essay Della Moneta by the Italian economist G. Vasco (The transcribed text will be made available once the bid is accepted).
There are several topics of interest and, based upon the quality of the work, the successful bidder will have the opportunity to expand the work (always for a higher compensation as acknowledgement for his/her efforts as well as confidentiality).
The focus for the present paper will be the role of the Italian prince (Principe) in the issuing of the coin (coinage). Recommendations provided by the writer G. Vasco in his essay "Della moneta".
In order to successfully finalize the work, the following steps will have to be taken:
1. Carefully read the provided text and extract (in a separate Word document) all the relevant passages (since the original text, already transcribed, has approximately 70-80 pages A4 format, 24-36 hours should be sufficient to fulfill this basic task).
2. For each passage (no matter its length !), please provide a minimum of 1 page or more with comments (initial brainstorming). Deadline: 3 days (in order to speed up the process, I highly recommend that at the end of each day, the file with the work in progress is submitted so that I can provide the feedback on the comments). The comments can be with bullet points (as long as the idea/hypothesis etc. is clearly stated and academically written).
3. Once the feedback for the comments has been provided and a summary of the principles/conclusions has been established, the actual drafting of the article can begin.
The proposed structure of the work/article could be the following (suggestions for improvement are highly welcomed):
1. Brief overview of the Italian 18th century issuance of the coin (historical background with examples recommended).
2. Brief overview of G. Vasco's contribution on the matter... (the Treccani encyclopedia can be a starting point).
3. Discussion of the work Della moneta (I will inform which are the most relevant passages to be used !)
4. Conclusions
5. References (no websites are allowed !). When researching the Italian historical background provide the link of the book/article in a separate file (if you are using the printed version, photos of the relevant pages should be provided to insure the information was not "Wikipedia"-inspired). The references will include both English and Italian sources and it should not be longer than 2 pages !
Final remarks:
1. The essay will be drafted in a Word document (margin of 2 cm each side, A4 format, Times New Roman, 12, single spaced).
2. Communication for any doubts should be insured immediately.

Before concluding, I emphasize that I will not be interested in the lowest price, but whether you can provide a high quality product. If you succeed and all goes well during the unfolding of the project, you will be automatically assigned (based upon your availability) the next phase of the project (with a budget that would suit the needs of both parties).
