JavaScript onKeypress (enter) submit in ASP.Net page

I have a simple search form on an ASP.net page The button code works fine and does what is needed however the onKeydown event does not fire in IE... works in every other browser except IE.

Requirements: Take the attached code and make it work in IE 6 - 9, Chrome, FF, Safari...

Must use client side code only and it must work within the asp.net form tags.. page must be an ASPX page.

You can use jQuery if you want...

Form must work on button click and on pressing the enter key.

You will not be able to reach the actual search site (Intranet) but the form should pass the content of the text box...

This needs to be completed within the next 36hours
