I am looking for a couple of smart, analytical and creative young boys / girls (ideally still studying) looking to make some pocket money. The nature of the work would be background research, analysis and preparation of basic 4-5 powerpoint slide materials every week. Ideally I would like the freelancers to work on a long term basis as a team with me. I am currently toying with a few start-up ideas (including a philosophy oriented talk show). The possible research topics could be (say) (1) what is the total screen surface area of all the smartphones sold in the world every year?, (2) what was the human conception of "time"in the year 1000 BC across different human civilizations, (3) what may have been the sea level when Rama went to Lanka?, (4) what are the different theories for how the universe will end, (5) what are the spheres of life where we observe the reverse of Flynn Effect?, etc.
If you would like to come along with a friend and do this together, you are welcome to. My sense is that undergrad students in Bombay (engineering, law, science, maths, etc.) would be ideal fits. I promise you will learn a great deal and could end up getting a mentor / friend for life. I work in investment banking in Bombay (BKC), and most of the work may need to done over phone / email, or through 2-3 hour weekend meetings at my home in Prabhadevi.
