Griffith Waller Jr ran off with his father’s slave Dorothy “Dolli” Waller in July, 1859.
Golden, Vivian’s mixed racial son is sold by Griffith Sr, Jan. 1861. He is 11 years old, born in 1850.
War starts in America, April 1861.
Fleeing Union soldiers enter Waller Land by night and hold the occupants’ hostage. Terrance hides Abi, February, 1864.
