Create a Download Progress Bar for a Streaming CSV

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

I need a download progress bar to display the percentage complete for a CSV download. I think the fact that the file is streaming adds to the complication of the task. I have tried several different approaches, but nothing is working so far.

Ideally, I would like something like this: [login to view URL]

I have created a very basic version of the project in a github repo that will be shared with the contractor who gets the job. I would like the job to be completed within 12 hours of accepting the contract

I'm using the gem 'acts_as_xlsx'.

The csv that is generated in the controller like this...

def download_csv

data = [login to view URL]

p = Axlsx::[login to view URL]

wb = [login to view URL]

wb.add_worksheet(:name => "report") do |sheet|

sheet.add_row [login to view URL]

[login to view URL] {|row| sheet.add_row [login to view URL] }

end

send_data [login to view URL], :type => "application/[login to view URL]"

end
