Power BI project to incorporate high refresh rate (>1/min) data refresh into a report.
This data stream is to monitor and record incoming trades as they come in. It will be used in 2 reports:
Report 1: These new trades are to be added to a table to construct an overall position for each FX symbol and its weighted average price.
Report 2: The new trades are used to update an overview (profit/loss, volume, symbol) for the trades executed.
The data source is from a combination of MySQL and Postgre SQL databases.
Currently, refreshing the database takes about 3 minutes using our query, and the refresh rate is limited to 8 times a day (Power BI scheduled refresh) . Hope to use streaming data set to decrease refresh time and increase refresh rates.
