171738 Perl Fix Needed

Hi,

I have a simple PERL script which is parsing an XML file to get two values. These values are then used in another cgi script.

The problem is that the XML file being uploaded is in a dos/windows format. This causes the script to give 500 error.

I need a quick fix [dos2unix] - so that when the XML file is being read/opened that it is converted to dos format first and also to have some basic error checking added - so that it dies without giving a 500 error.
