Cordova/ionic App, fix Cross Site origin error on XMLHttpRequest()

I had a working App that now has a problem loading some external resources via XMLHttpRequest()

I get the cross origin error exeption even if the whitelist plugin seems to be properly installed

I need an expert on cordova/ionic development, it should be an easy fix.
