Magento Shipping with a C++ program.

What we need is a custom magento shipping module, with a catch. Our shipping is a bit complex, as we use the weight, box size, and a handling fee.

We have a C++ program which can do the logic for the box packing as required, so what we would like is for the C++ program to be adjusted to accept XML inputs, and return XML output, which the magento module then returns as the shipping. We plan on running this on Linux for the most part, so please adjust the C++ code accordingly. :)
