Flash Help - Mute/Un-Mute Embedded Video

I currently have an embedded video in my fla file. I need to add a button so that the sound in the video can mute and un-mute when clicked. When a user un-mutes I would like the sound to match the video. I have dragged the Mute Button component into the frame however I am not sure how to script it. It seems like a simple fix but I don't know much about ActionScript. Also, but less important, when the video loops there is a little glitch so that it isn't as smooth as it could be.
