Short description of my Click For Points (Vote for points System)

- I have a website where my users need to log in once or twice a day and click a number of banners (5). Each banner leads to a different gaming Topsite in which they have to actually click "Vote for XXX" before their vote is awarded for our site. Each time the user clicks on the banner on my website they get awarded 1 Vote Point, some banners have a different cool down than others, (some 12hours others 24 hours etc).

The problem I have now is that my users have noticed that they earn Vote Points as soon as they click the banner on my site, it doesn't matter whether they actually entered the captcha on the vote site and actually voted for us. This has lead to a huge decrease of votes...

As you can see they need to enter a captcha and press Vote. Which my users tend to be too lazy to do and since they don't need to do so to get the points, they just decide to completely ignore it and move on with their day.

What I need:

I doubt the entire vote system has to be re-done, I'm hoping someone can come in and add a certain layer of security that makes sure that user gets awarded the vote points only after they have successfully voted on the site. It should be abuse proof, meaning refresh, or going back and doing it again should not give them more points. If the user doesn't enter the captcha on the vote site will not receive points.
