Opencart Custom Shipping Weight calculation for Options

We have an Opencart store where we sell products by the metre.
We have set up widths as option 1 (for example 1m and 2m - as these are Select fields, I have been able to specify additional weight eg 1kg for 1m width, 2kgs for 2m width) and then in option 2, the customer selects the length required (which is a text option - so does not have the option to increase weight by a certain amount).
What I want is for our store to calculate weight for shipping as Option 1 weight x value option 2.
So if someone selected 2m in option 1 and 4m in option 2, then weight would be calculated as 2kgs x 4 = 8kgs.
Also for our shipping, we could like a button that asks "Is this a residential address?" and if so, an extra $5 is added to shipping cost.
