Word VBA Macro Problem

I have a laptop computer running Windows XP Home Addtional and Office 2003.

I am running a Word Macro to save a .doc file to a public network drive where I have full permission.

I get this error: "word cannot complete the save due to a file permission error"

Here are the steps I've taken...

I've saved and closed the .doc file, then reopened and tried to save to the network... still same error.

Tools=>Options=>Save changed the setting for

[x] Make local copy of files stored on Network or Removable Drive .... still same error.

I have all the latest service packs and updates installed.
