Joomla module development

We need simple module (not component) for Joomla. This module should read data from Microsoft Access database (.mdb) and show it in module (site). There is no input or updating the database, only simple select and nice output. We will provide all sql queries, so we need someone with experience in joomla module development.

In database there is basiclly 3 entities (tables):

- organizations

- categories

- project

Each organization gets some projects (over the year) and each project is in category (there is only one level of categories). So how should look output? We need 3 different output (maybe three modules), but mainly there is only difffernt grouping.

1. User will pick a year via combobox and output will be summary of project in selected year (we will provide query)

2. User will pick year and category via combobox and output will be grouped project (with all fields) by year and organization (we will provide query)

3. User will pick year and organization via combobox and output will list all projects (with all fields) of selected organization, grouped by year (we will provide query)

We believe that this should not be a problem for experienced devoleper. Module should obey all permission and security set in joomla, but this is, we think, by design?
