We're looking for a rockstar developer for a small company developing SaaS products for eCommerce merchants on Shopify.
This is a full-time long term job with a lot of room for raises and performance-based bonuses.
The ideal candidate will efficiently and quickly write PHP in a timely and scalable way in order to improve the code-base of the company's products in meaningful ways. This candidate will be able to test the code and make adjustments where necessary. They should also be experience in contributing to the whole software design lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Write clean, well-designed code
- Troubleshoot and test core product software to ensure strong optimization
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycleBe a team player

- Work closely with Product Owners, Frontend Developers, DevOps Engineers and UI/UX Designers
- Provide alternative solutions to problems if necessary
- Use a proactive approach to identify improvements
- Take technical ownership of the Product
- Code review your colleagues’ work carefully
Design, build and deploy new features
- Fix software bugs
- Deliver solutions in CI/CD workflow processes
Qualifications
5+ years of experience building web applications
3+ years of development experience with PHP core, Codeigniter, MVC and Symfony / Laravel
Preferably graduated from computer / software engineering or related technical departments of universities
Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap
Experience in application development with Restful APIs
Familiarity with best practices & design patterns (DDD, OOD, SOLID, YAGNI, KISS, DRY, etc)
Familiarity with event-driven, distributed, scalable software programming
Preferably experience in SaaS and high traffic applications
Good knowledge of unit/integration testing and related frameworks/tools
Working experience with CI/CD related tools like Git, Jenkins, etc.
Experience with Linux, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
Experience in working with B2B, e-Commerce, CRM, ERP products
Ability to write high-performance, maintainable and reusable code
Go and/or NodeJS knowledge will be a big plus
English knowledge enough to read technical documents and correspond
The perfect candidate will also have:
- Web/graphic design skills
- Basic development skills
- Experience with Shopify
- Marketing experience (email, social, PPC etc..)
