I'm looking to recreate a subset of an NT7 tool I use to trade with to be developed for NT8.
I have several projects that I'd like to build into one tool and it would most likely be better to do a Teamviewer session which I can host in order to show you tools I use in NT7 and NT8 which I'd like my own versions/modernised version of doing similar.
But first off, a "drawn range" breakout trading tool.
1. NT8 Only
2. A tool to draw rectangle/box on the chart using a short-cut key (eg. Insert Key)
3. When enabled (bool) the code would execute an order and/or an ATM strategy as per the normal selected strategy when "price closes outside" of the high or low of the box.
4. The box would need two selectable options and an offset and must be individually enabled.
a. Order executed when prices closes Outside High of box
b. Order executed when prices closes Outside Low of box
c. Options of trading long/short automatically disabled after a trade is executed.
d. Offset – to be options to the following:
i. Execute order if close outside of box <= (n-ticks_ - This would prevent a large move outside of the box being entered into. Sort of like a limit order behavior.
ii. The parameters must be surfaced and not inside the Indicator Parameters. So a panel next to the Trdaing Panel which can be hidden or exposed by a "Zoticus" button on the toolbar.
I would actually like to build a whole professional trading tool and ‘rent’ it our on a monthly or annual basis with the code locked to the 3rd Party Licencing code feature or via the machine ID which is similar.
