I have a site where most posts are assigned between 3 categories - some appear in only one, some appear in more than one, some appear in all 3.
I need a widget which will display, on the front end of the post, an image/link for each category it is assigned to, and ONLY those categories (not all the others). So if it is assigned only to the Yellow category it will display only the yellow image; if it is assigned to the Yellow and Blue categories, it will display both the yellow and the blue images, etc.
The posts display on the front end using a custom template theme created using Beaver Builder/Beaver Themer so all post layout and styling is centrally controlled.
Therefore the category images displayed on each post need to be handled by a widget which can be inserted directly into the Beaver Builder template theme, NOT by code in any of the wordpress files, or CSS, and NOT by code inserted into individual posts.
Essentially this widget needs to operate a conditional set of events:
"If this post is identified as part of X category, then display X image and link"
"If this post is identified as part of Y category, then display Y image and link"
etc
The widget will be placed by me, using the Beaver system, in the appropriate part of the post layout, and this may change from time to time which is another reason why this functionality needs to not be hard coded.
I'm looking for a simple, elegant solution, and someone who really understands the brief - if you are unsure about any elements of it PLEASE ASK FOR FURTHER INFORMATION before bidding.
The deadline is quite tight and will need to be completed before the end of Sept at the latest.
