We have recently launched [login to view URL], an online organizational tool for divorce. There are two sides to divorce: money and kids. There are roughly 1M divorces in the US each year and it is a $50B annual market. It's a screwed up arena from top to bottom. Nobody wins in divorce but the lawyers type of thing. There is a push from the courts and from many divorce mediators, coaches and financial neutrals, and various legal tech companies, such as SplitSmart, to make divorce easier, less expensive and less traumatic on couples and families.
I am just starting my blog and social media efforts and finding it daunting, overwhelming and expensive. I have a lot of content but in many cases, it is too lengthy and too negative in tone. I want to develop an overall blog/social media/SEO/video plan and monthly execution approach. I am trying to reach two audiences simultaneously: couples getting divorced and the professionals that serve them. This isn't true marketing at this point but it soon will be.
Writing for the divorce market, I believe, is challenging at best as you try to balance multiple virtues and logic. The arena can be emotionally charged. The writing cannot be sexist, it has to be gender neutral, cannot blame men or women. Bad actors abound in both.
