I would like a quote for model for 3d printing
Here are some pictures of some prototypes I have made

One is acrylic cube with round tubes glued to the edges. The other is a hollow cube made with square balsa sticks with plastic tiles for faces.
The model we need is to be 3d printed a plastic square tubes (not round metal as in the prototype) in a cube shape - it is completely hollow and does not have any faces like the 2nd prototype.
The tubes are hollow and to allow the insertion of 1/16 inch diameter round rods with a little clearance to allow them to move (estimated 1.7 mm inner diameter)
As we need to insert the rods, this means we do not have a lot of space to connect the tubes to each other at the corners, so some tube ends can be closed IN ONE DIRECTION to add structural stability, but we have to be able to insert rods in each of the 12 tubes. (see other diagram with colors)
The outer dimensions of the cube are all 1 inch.
The tube walls need to be as thin as possible - we may need new 3d printers to be able to get the tolerances needed.
We also need suggestions for type of plastic to print this structure as strong as possible
