Non-profit organization in need of a new website logo. We are looking for an experienced designer who can come up with a creative and distinct logo that captures our organization's mission. We are changing our website and need a new logo and banner to go with it.
The winning design will be one that is clean, professional, and distinct. Our organization is an environmental organization aimed at fighting excessive noise pollution from various sources.
We need the logo to be in printable and scalable file format (for letter head, brochures, business cards, hats, shirts, etc.).
Logo must also be rendered in web imaging format (.jpg,.png). The logo must have a transparent background.
The current logo and banner can be seen at our website www dot noisefree dot org.
We do not wish to incorporate any elements of the current logo and banner into the new design. We're looking for a fresh new start.
We would like for our banner to give our website viewers a sense of serenity. No loud, brash, colors. We like the current pastel color scheme. The banner should be rendered in Leaderboard (728 x 90), Full (468 X 60), and Half (234 x 60) sizes.
Our tag line is--Respect the Quiet. We would like to see the tag line as part of the logo.
The logo and banner need to be professional. We don't want any cartoon lettering, images, or themes. We are not looking for anything "fun" or "whimsical."
We don't want a logo with a red, white, and blue "patriotic" theme as a play off of "America" in our name. We'd like to see the logo in black with classic/professional style lettering.
Nature themes and images (water, trees, open spaces, etc.) are okay for the banner image. Again were are looking for a banner that portrays peace, quiet, and serenity.
For an example of the sort of logo we are looking for, please check out www dot nature dot org. Their logo is clean, professional, and distinct. Their tag line is incorporated as part of the logo. The image in their logo is distinct and gives an idea of what they are about. We'd like a logo to link to our name that represents our mission: QUIET. I'm not sure what that image is, but I'm hoping to see some good ideas.

Please supply at least 3 mockups as soon as possible.
We are a small organization and our budget for this project is $250.00 or less.
Designer MUST agree, in writing, to release and and all rights to the design to our organization America upon acceptance and payment for the logo.
