Bild a Web based Application for BC360

General Notes

We are developing a web-based application that will allow users to answer some predefined questions related to a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. We will also be looking at implementing various reports which will be stored on the server for all the customers. Website will be developed in English. You as a developer will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure-Agreement (NDA) with BC360 in order to protect our Intellectual Property.

Timeframes

We are expecting that the development will take about 3 months. Any delays will need to be discussed with our project team. We understand that if the scope of the project grows so will the length of the project delivery.

Project Info

Project will be split into several phases and payments will be processed as each stage is completed. Developer will be required to communicate with our team on a regular basis via Discord or Skype.

There will be a weekly project report / review and plan for the following week. Due to the importance of planning and timeframes, we will be insisting that this component of joint work gets done every week.

The site needs to be appealing, funky and easy to navigate, nice to look at, customer centric, lightweight and above all functional. We want to ensure that the customers have the best customer experience through their journey. We also want to ensure that information and functionality is accessible within a minimum number of clicks.

As there will be multiple customers and companies using the website, we will need the ability to validate users before they login.

Developer that accepts the Project is not allowed to subcontract to other developers without our approval. Should the developer misleads the BC360 Project team, we will take actions to inform Freelancer, discontinue the project with the current developer and appoint a new developer. Each developer will need to sign the NDA (see appendix 1) and will need to have individual logins. Each developer will be assigned items in Jira for a full transparency.

Key sections/functionalities of the website

The below functionalities are not the final of full brief as the combination of the Detailed Design and Process Flow will constitute full design. It is expected that the minor modifications may occur as we refine the logic and potentially overcome some technical challenges.

Website Functions are clearly defined in the brief document. Some of these are :

- User management and administration

- User Login Activation

- User Password Reset

- Email validation against MX records for logins

- Implemented Captcha for ensuring BOTS do not spam the site

- Ability for client to Self-Nominate and Select Subscription

- Ability for the client to setup Roles and Responsibilities for their organisation

- Questions / Answers / Recommendations section

- Ability to pay for the selected subscription online via Payment Gateway

- User and system Notifications

- Template management

- Website Administration

- Localisation

- Recording errors to an error log

- User reports need to be available and shown in the customers own time zone

- Ability to customise appearance for client by displaying their own logo

Please read the attached document for more information. We will be very carefull with the selection of the developer as the project is important for our client and timeframes need to be adhered to. We will evaluate developers capacity to complete the work in time and with satisfactory outcome. We will have oune of our own developers overseeing the qyuality of the code and will evbaluate if it is fit for future. We will discuss details of the project with the potential developers before selecting the winner to ensure the web based application is built with the latest technologies. Last thing client want us to do is to update project shortly after it goes live. The selected Develeopr will have an opportunity to be exposed to further development/projects once this one is concluded.
