Mulenga T.

Mulenga Tembo is a Youth Development Activist with at least 8 years' experience in Design and Delivery of Participatory Pedagogical Training's in Policy Advocacy and Campaigns. Academically, he holds a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education with Civic Education, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Laws (LLB). A former Youth Engagement Specialist, International Professional Volunteer with Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) Nigeria. Part of his role was to mobilize youth, identifying and engaging youth organizations, identifying youth employment and empowerment opportunities and challenges, developing initiatives for inclusive youth programming and building relationships with key actors to look at barriers within government policies and programs that hinder youth engagement and development. Secondly, he has been an Education Advisor (International Professional Volunteer with VSO Mozambique. His also part of the 9-month Apolitical leadership program in South Africa. The intense program features parliamentarians, former parliamentarians, potential young leaders, civil servants holding leadership positions, community leaders across southern Africa with a core aim of transforming the public service and shape the future of their countries for the better. Suffice, he was a trainer at Global Platform Zambia (GPZ) for at least 4 years. The Global Platforms are youth hubs whose aim is to create space for and providing strategic capacity development towards the needs and demands of youth. Additionally, he has done intensive training of trainers (ToT) and training of trainers advanced (ToTA) in Denmark which is similar to ToT but at an advanced level.
