Nuclear cusps and singularities in the NADD kinetic potential bifunctional from analytical inversion

In this article, the existence of singularities in v NAD is analyzed analytically for various choices of ρ B and ρ tot, using the nuclear cusp conditions for the density and Kohn-Sham potential. It is shown that no singularities arise from smoothly partitioned ground-state Kohn-Sham densities. We confirm this result by numerical calculations on diatomic test systems

Magnetic fields in the large scale structure from Faraday rotation measurements

Search for magnetic fields outside galaxies and galaxy clusters by investigating the redshift evolution of Faraday rotation measures (RM) of extragalactic radio sources. Our analysis reveals strong evidence for the redshift dependence of the mean of the absolute value of the RM. The evidence is further strengthened if the Galactic contribution to the RM is subtracted. The hypothesis of the absence of the redshift evolution of residual RM is ruled out at the 5 sigma level.
