Roles and Responsibilities • Technical and functional analysis of enhancement/modification specification document. • Providing estimates and task breakup for enhancement. • Technical design, development, and unit testing. • Setting up DEV, QA, E2E, Pre-PROD and PROD environment (Private cloud/ On prem) • Creating Pipelines using Ansible and Jenkins for CI & CD. • Setting up monitoring, alerts and reports using Splunk, ELK, & App Dynamics. • Support for performance testing (PT). • Architecture review for Infosec approval. • Resolving environment and configuration issues. • Support/Issue fixing for E2E. • Go-Live, production issue support. • Support for Ops transition. • Conduct functional training for newly hired employees. • Interview technical team members. SKILL SET: • Web application backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot using Micro services architecture. • Development Experience using NoSQL databases Cassandra, Mongo and Elastic. • Development experience using RDBMS databases Postgres, Oracle and MySQL using Hibernate ORM. • Development experience using in memory data stores Redis and Hazelcast cache. • Development experience using Apache Kafka as streaming platform. • Development experience using Apache Solr, Elastic Search as search platform. • Development experience using Docker containerization. • Build and deployment experience using Ansible and Jenkins CICD pipelines. • Functional knowledge of E-commerce domain. • Functional knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) domain. • Functional knowledge of Travel Domain for Airlines IT and GDS.
