## BIO **Mission Statement:** To further my professional career and expand my knowledge by providing unique angles and excellent output on any task assigned. While working on a project, I maintain contact with clients until the software has reached their expectations, if not higher. I look for continual input on functionality and "feel" of the program. **Experience** Over the last 10 years I have gained a solid understanding of Object Oriented concepts which have provided me a solid ground for use in Object Pascal, C++, C#, Java, Visual Basic, and many other languages. I originally began programming in Basic on my Atari 800, and progressed quickly through Commodores and Amigas until I reached the PC platform. At that point I learned Assembly language for the x86 platform, and the 68k platform shortly after. At that point I began programming in Turbo Pascal and proceeded forward into Delphi and Object Pascal. **Most Recognizable Projects:** For a Client in Las Vegas, I was given a task to create a specialized Database server which would give good response times for 28.8K and 33.6K Dial-Up Modem Users. This involved Custom triggers, as well as a customized protocol and an indepth knowledge of networking for the ability to squeeze use into every bit of bandwidth. The emphasis was placed on a multi-threaded architecture in which the server was on demand to generate data from Queries, as well as stored procedures. The build time given for the complete project was 6 Months. It was completed with Object Pascal in 2 Months and 13 days. For a client in California, I was given the task of creating a multiple layered website capable of generating data on the fly from databases, as well as management, upkeep, and increased usage. The given time frame for this project was 2 months. Using Delphi Web Script as the Webpage format, and a partially-customized server, I was able to complete the project within 3 weeks. Custom Isapi extensions, as well as custom scripting extensions were required for this project. ## Area of Expertise **Programming Expertise:** Delphi/Object Pascal, C++, Visual Basic, Assembly (x86 and 68k), Web Scripting languages (ASP, Delphi Web Script, Perl), C# and VB.Net. **Database Expertise:** xBase (Up to and including FoxPro, dBase, and 2kXBase), SQL (Specific Servers include SQLServer 97 and 2000, Postgre, and mySQL). Also the creation of 2 proprietary formats for previous clients, as well as a fully customized database server. **Platform Expertise:** Familiar with Codewarrior on the Mac Platform, Unix, Most Linux variations, Windows 2.0 up until Windows XP (and all versions between), BeOS **Specialties:** Network and Socket programming, Messaging, Protocol Generation for use on Distributed networks, Web Site Design and Implementation, Custom Isapi and CGI creation, and QA testing.
