I have had two persons work on this and so far it hasn't been resolved. The main problem is that Apache is crashing when started in SSL mode. I know nothing about Apache, MySQL, or PHP. These are all apparently needed to run SourceForge. All I know is that I we want to run SourceForge on this PC to allow several remote Engineers to track project progress from their home offices. The first person installed all the necessary software to run SourceForge, but was unable to compete because of Apache would crash when it starts. The second person has attempted to find the problem with Apache crashing, but was unable to resolve it as well. The machine is a W2K SP3 machine connected to two LANs. NIC #1 goes to my DSL Router/Firewall. NIC #2 goes to my tiny Windows p2p LAN....

I need to rename a file in a CVS repository located on SourceForge, while maintaing the old filename's history in the new name. I did this back in April but have since forgotten how and have spent all night researching it but to no avail. The standard hacks for renaming files as mentioned in the CVS FAQ WILL NOT WORK here. You cannot just cvs remove file1; cvs add file2!! Filename2 must appear as though it has ALWAYS BEEN the name of the file...and Filename1 should NOT appear in the Attic of the CVS repository.
